MSI NX8600GT Twin Turbo
Choose your own mode!

MSI proudly unveils its latest graphic card, the MSI NX8600GT Twin Turbo. This graphic card is equipped with two separate vBIOS on-board, which each carry dedicated GPU, shader and memory clock settings. By pressing on the hardware button on the bracket, a new (higher) clock setting can be applied without re-flashing the vBIOS chip. Users have the choice to use the Turbo function or the energy saving function. Overclock enthusiasts who want to tweak the vBIOS to find out the ultimate performance will have another vBIOS provided with this solution. For extra performance in overclocking status, MSI offers the shader OC model with a standerd higher shader clock.

Turbo mode or Energy saving mode
With the MSI NX8600GT Twin Turbo users can have the best of two worlds. The Energy saving mode will provide good performance and consumes less power. The Turbo mode will provide a better 3D experience without having to violate the warranty agreement or possibly damage the graphic card by tweaking anything.

Shader OC
Compared to the last generation NVIDIA GeForce GPU, the GeForce 8 series family uses a unified shader processing unit (Stream Processors) to simultaneously handle 3D modeling/pixel rendering in a more flexible way. These Stream Processors execute instructions and mapping textures at about two times the default GPU core clock. If the ratio of the Stream Processor clock (Shader Clock) is raised over the GPU core clock, the performance of the graphic card can be boosted without generating too much heat.
